Sergio Mendoza and La Orkesta is an outstanding indie mambo orchestra from Tucson, Arizona, which in 2017 was declared one of the most successful and interesting associations in Latin music. The interplay of Latin American percussion, accordion, saxophone, trumpet, double bass, violin, clarinet and guitar and the voices of the ensemble create loud, stormy mambo and cumbia music with an intense touch of psychedelic music, forming a quality and sometimes even supernatural sound. Trizna: The orchestra was founded in 2009 by a charismatic singer and guitarist Serhio Mendosa who is also the leader of this group. The orchestra is actually a comprehensive ensemble of talented musicians consisting of seven members. These are: Serhio Mendoza (voice, piano, guitar), James Peter (drums, percussion), Marco Rosano (saxophone, clarinet, accordion, trombone), Sean Rogers (double bass), Raoul Marche (trumpet, guitar, voice), Brian Lopez (guitar, voice) and Ketals Gerrero (violin, voice).
