The OLVG, Jeroen Bosch Hospital and Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland have launched a home measurement app for IBD patients. Via questionnaires and stool tests, patients with a chronic inflammatory bowel disease are remotely monitored. ‘We expect a significant reduction in hospital visits and more control for the patient,’ says Rachel West, MDL doctor at Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland and co-founder of the app.
