Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin failed to win at Hong Kong Open 2023. They beat Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen in the final.

Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin vs Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen took place at the Hong Kong Coliseum, Sunday (17/9/2023). Leo/Daniel lost with a score of 10-21, 24-22, 21-19.

Leo/Daniel couldn’t do much in the first game even though it was tight at the start. Leo/Daniel’s points stopped at five, which allowed Astrup/Rasmussen to freely lead 11-5 until the interval.

After the break, Leo/Daniel still couldn’t get up. They then had to be willing to lose the first game with a score of 10-21.

After the break, Astrup/Rasmussen successfully widened it to 15-12. Leo/Daniel, who didn’t want the distance to continue to widen, was finally able to cut it to 14-15.

Leo/Daniel were able to equalize the score to 18-18, Astrup/Rasmussen quickly took another point to lead 19-18. Rasmussen was then able to contribute another point and is now one point away from winning.

Astrup/Rasmussen can finally become champions. Daniel’s failed shuttle return saw the Danish pair win 21-19.
