Now the picture of what the largest surf park in Central Europe will look like is becoming clearer and clearer. Neither tropical flowers nor palm trees will line the Wellensee in Regensdorf, but plants from our latitudes. The Hawaiian feeling still arises when the surfers stroll through the park with their boards under their arms. Even far from the sea, the waves that roll through the pool every few seconds, the largest almost two meters high, will provide an adrenaline rush.
The goal of Waveup Creations AG, which is planning the leisure and surfing park in Regensdorf, goes far beyond being a mecca for wave fans. The Regensdorf project also wants to be an outdoor swimming pool, a sports meeting point and, above all, a green recreation park for the general public.
