In their quarter-final debut, Leipzig faces a regular in UEFA Champions League games, Atlético de Madrid at Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon

• This is the first meeting between the two teams. Leipzig are in only their ninth meeting in the knockout stage of a UEFA competition, as Atlético, a two-time finalist in the last seven editions, make their way to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals for the sixth time.
