The negotiation was considered positive by the three parties. Botafogo, which needs a defensive midfielder; by Patrick de Paula, who wants to return to acting regularly; and for Palmeiras, who need to balance their coffers and are negotiating an athlete out of Abel Ferreira’s plans.
Botafogo and Palmeiras will now resolve the last parts of the contract for the release of Patrick de Paula, who will reinforce Glorioso for the Brazilian Championship. He will be the biggest signing in the history of Alvinegro.
The player was excited and had already accepted Glorioso’s proposal for the possibility of playing regularly and being the protagonist of the club’s new project, led by John Textor.
