There were serious doubts about Harvey Barnes’ possible participation in Euro 2020 when the Leicester midfielder was brought down on a stretcher in Sunday’s game against Arsenal.
Early in the second half, Barnes seemed to stretch too far while trying to play the ball and he hit the ground in a heap.
There were troubling scenes at King Power Stadium
After a period of treatment on the court, Barnes was removed on a stretcher and replaced by Cengiz Under.
Barnes, who has been one of Leicester’s best players this season, is now facing a possible extended period on the sidelines with an apparent knee injury.
