Legitimate! Bambang Brodjonegoro Becomes Independent Commissioner of Indofood

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) today held the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) and obtained approval for the entire agenda of the meeting.

One of the agenda of the meeting is to accept the resignation of all members of the board of commissioners and directors of the company in connection with the expiration of their term of office since the closing of today’s GMS, accompanied by the highest gratitude and appreciation for their dedication and services to the company.

The GMS also appoints members of the board of commissioners and directors of the company for a term of office starting from the closing of today’s GMS until the closing of the company’s AGMS in 2024.

There are two new names in the composition of the board of commissioners. They are Hans Kartikahadi and Bambang Brodjonegoro. Hans was previously a commissioner at PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur (ICBP). Meanwhile, Bambang is a former Minister of Research and Technology/Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet under the leadership of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Previously, Bambang was appointed as a commissioner in four companies, namely PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk., PT Astra International Tbk., PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk., and PT Bukalapak.com Tbk.

At the EGMS, the shareholders approved changes to all provisions of the Company’s Articles of Association in order to comply with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 15/POJK.04/2020 dated April 20, 2020 regarding the Plan and Organizing of the General Meeting of Shareholders of a Public Company.
