Results of the second round in the 1st constituency of Martinique
In the National Assembly, the seat of the 1st constituency of Martinique was occupied by Josette Manin.
In this constituency of Martinique, which notably includes Le Lamentin and Fort-de-France, Jiovanny William (DVG) came out on top, having won 62.9% of the vote, ahead of Philippe Edmond-Mariette (REG) who therefore obtained the vote of 37.1% of voters.
Philippe Edmond-Mariette will therefore not sit in the National Assembly when parliamentary work resumes on Tuesday, June 28.
In Martinique, at 5 p.m., only 20.1% of voters had moved. They were 80% not to have moved in the first round, in this constituency.
Martinique: the results of the second round in the 2nd constituency
In the National Assembly, the seat of the 2nd constituency of Martinique was occupied by Manuela Mondesir-Keclard.
In this constituency of Martinique where we find in particular towns such as Schœlcher, Le Lamentin and Fort-de-France, Marcellin Nadeau (REG), becomes deputy with 63.5% of the votes cast, ahead of Justin Pamphile (REG) and his 36.5%.
Justin Pamphile will therefore not sit in the National Assembly when parliamentary work resumes on Tuesday, June 28.
The second round of legislative elections in the 3rd constituency of Martinique
The chair of the 3rd district of Martinique had been vacant since the resignation of Serge Letchimy.
This Martinique constituency sees Johnny Hajjar (DVG) win as a deputy, with 58.7% of the votes counted. Francis Carole (REG) – and his 41.3% – will therefore not sit in the National Assembly.
Johnny Hajjar will sit at the Bourbon Palace when the parliamentary calendar reopens on Tuesday, June 28.
The abstention of the department at 5 p.m. was 79.9% during this second round. By way of comparison, 78.8% of voters in this constituency shunned the ballot box in the first round.
4th constituency of Martinique: the results of the second round
The chair of the 4th district of Martinique was occupied by Jean-Philippe Nilor.
In this Martinique constituency, where there are notably towns such as Le François, Le Lamentin and Ducos, Jean-Philippe Nilor (REG) becomes a deputy with 71.4% of the votes cast, ahead of Alfred Marie-Jeanne (REG) and his 28.6%.
Jean-Philippe Nilor will sit at the Bourbon Palace when the parliamentary calendar reopens on Tuesday June 28.
