On November 8, 2022, the Board of Directors of Leem (Les Entreprises du Médicament) co-opted a new director: Marina Vasiliou, President and CEO of Biogen France, in the American Laboratories family, replacing Denis Hello.
Marina Vasiliou holds a BA in Marketing and Business Management from the University of Cyprus and an MBA from Penn State, University of Pennsylvania.
His career began at Merck in the United States, where he held sales positions before joining the global marketing team. In 2003 you worked from Paris with the Africa region and managed the marketing and sales functions of three countries for the therapeutic area of osteoarthritis. She was subsequently appointed Middle East / Africa Marketing Director for the Osteoporosis business.
In 2007 she joined the French branch of MSD as Commercial Director of Cardiovascular Activity for the Ile-de-France region, then Commercial Director for Diabetes for the eastern half of France. Between 2012 and 2015 you led MSD’s primary care business for the southern region. In 2015 you created a new team charged with optimizing the healthcare pathway for diabetic patients nationwide. A year later, she leads the contraceptive implant business in the United States as Global Brand Director.
In 2017 she joined Biogen as Vice President and General Manager of the Canadian branch. Since 1 October 2021 you are the President and CEO of Biogen France.
In Leem, Marina Vasiliou was a member of the Board of Directors from January to June 2022.
