(Belga) Premier League club Leeds United confirmed on Sunday that defender Stuart Dallas, 31, suffered a fractured femur in Saturday’s 0-4 league loss to Manchester City.
After contact with Jack Grealish just before half-time (45th + 7), the Northern Irish international (56 caps, 3 goals) was taken to Leeds hospital where he spent the night before being transferred to London for further examinations. According to club management, Dallas is “on the sidelines for a long time”. Arrived at Elland Road in 2015, Dallas is an indisputable holder in defense and his injury is a handicap for Leeds (34 points, 17th), who are struggling to maintain. (Belga)
