Singer Lee Jang-won and Bae Da-hae revealed that they had a natural miscarriage in the sixth week of pregnancy.
In the SBS entertainment program ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny’, which aired on the 24th, Lee Jang-won and Bae Da-hae’s couple were drawn.
Bae Da-hae said, “Didn’t you have an unexpected baby?” Lee Jang-won said, “Da-hae slept a lot.” Bae Da-hae, who found out that she was pregnant in the 4th week, expressed regret by revealing, “It took me a while to see the yolk and hear the heartbeat, but I found out too quickly. And in the 6th week, I had a spontaneous abortion.”
Lee Jang-won said it was hard to believe that the time he and his wife had been tense was only two weeks. Bae Da-hae said, “It would not have been easy to endure if I had heard the baby’s heartbeat.” He said that he was able to overcome it thanks to Lee Jang-won. Lee Jang-won praised his wife, saying, “You were strong.”
Bae Da-hae said, “There was something touching about what I heard at that time. They say that hard things that come to a couple give them a gift-like time to get closer. It touched me.” Bae Da-hae explained that although there were fights in the beginning of the newlyweds because they had to adjust to each other, after the miscarriage, they became even more close. Bae Da-hae expressed her anticipation for the future life, saying, “Now that I am healthy, I have to wait again.”
Meanwhile, Lee Jang-won and Bae Da-hae held a wedding in November 2021. The two have revealed their daily lives through ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny’.
