Lee Jae-myeong “Let’s allow nurse injections in an emergency… Threatening the lives of the Korean Medical Association and exploiting it”

Jae-myung Lee, Governor of Gyeonggi Province. News 1

– Gyeonggi Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myeong criticized the medical groups that had drawn out the medical treatment rejection card, saying, “The Medical Association is exploiting the privileges granted by the people for the health of the people as a tool to obtain unfair personal gains by threatening people’s lives. He said, “In an emergency, nurses and other qualified holders may temporarily allow minor medical treatments such as vaccinations or sample collections.”

On the 22nd, Governor Lee posted a post on his Facebook page titled, “We are proposing an exception to the medical treatment monopoly against a vaccine strike”, saying, “We cannot give up legislative legislation due to the illegal and unjust threat of the medical association.” Urged.

Governor Lee also said, “The Medical Association will refuse vaccination and prevent quarantine by taking advantage of the fact that even skilled nurses can not perform any medical treatment, such as injection, except for doctors.” He pointed out that it is crossing the line that should not be crossed to take advantage of unfair profit by threatening.

Governor Lee said, “The reason why the Association of Medical Doctors has reached the national disregard for this is because their collective illegal activities are easily tolerated and even gained unfair profits through illegal activities. It is” he explained. “If you give up the opportunity given as a means of fighting for self-interest, in principle, you should not give another opportunity. It’s like buying illegal group behavior and it’s against fairness.”

Governor Lee said, “It is not right to refuse the license suspension system by demanding special treatment different from other professions, but there is no reason to maintain the medical monopoly until threatening the people with the exclusive medical rights granted by the people.” In urgent cases where it is difficult to maintain the system, he asked the National Assembly to hurry to create a bill that would allow those with certain qualifications such as nurses to temporarily perform minor medical treatments such as vaccinations or specimen collection.”

He added, “Under the current law, only doctors can inject a corona vaccine, but if the medical association’s illegal strike becomes a reality, the lives of 13.8 million Gyeonggi residents will be exposed.” “Because we cannot give up legislative legislation due to the illegal and unjust threat of the medical association, He also asked for a suspension of the doctor’s license at the same time.”

According to the current law, all medical treatments such as injections can only be performed by doctors (command and supervision). Nurses cannot place vaccinations without doctor’s instructions and prescription.
