The media office of the Ministry of Public Health issued a statement saying: “The Ministry of Public Health, with the support of the World Health Organization, received a batch of insulin that included 60,000 vials and 300,000 syringes (necessary to take it).”
The statement added, “More quantities of insulin, of all three types, will arrive during the next few weeks, to meet the needs of health care centers for the next 12 months.”
Insulin is considered one of the basic medicines that the Ministry is keen to have available, free of charge, in the primary health care centers distributed throughout the Lebanese territory. and conform to international standards.
