Lebanon Weather Forecast: Mild Summer Weather Dominates, Debunking Heat Wave Reports

The Estimates Department of the Meteorological Authority in Lebanon expected in the evening weather bulletin that a mild summer weather would dominate Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean due to the influence of cold air masses stationed over the Black Sea, where temperatures would become below average on the coast and mountains and remain within their average levels indoors. The weather turns relatively hot at the end of the week.

She pointed out that the average temperature in Beirut for August ranged between 25 and 33 degrees, and in Zahle between 18 and 35 degrees Celsius.

And she explained that the news that is being promoted on social media about Lebanon being exposed to a heat wave in which temperatures exceed 40 degrees is not true, rather it is a normal summer weather with moderate humidity.

The expected weather in Lebanon:

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with a decrease in temperatures, especially on the mountains, with active winds at times, especially in the northern regions. Dense fog forms on the heights, starting in the afternoon.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with no change in temperature, and heavy fog will continue to form on the heights.

Thursday: Slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, with stable temperatures in the coastal and mountainous areas, while they rise slightly in the interior areas, and heavy fog continues to form on the heights, especially in the afternoon.

Friday: Slightly cloudy overall, with an additional and slight rise in the interior areas, while it remains unchanged on the coast and over the mountains, as local fog forms on the heights.
