Political writer Abdel Bari Atwan deemed this year’s Lebanese Independence Day to be the worst holiday since the civil war, due to the complete economic collapse, division and presidential and governmental vacuum.
Atwan said in an interview with the Point of View program via “Spot Shot” that there is a conspiracy against Lebanon, and there are local tools that implement this conspiracy.
He predicted that there would be an imminent regional war, in which Lebanon would be a side, perhaps within weeks.
Lebanon “could end”… and a war in a few weeks!
