Senior politician Ilham Arief Sirajuddin (IAS) who left the Democratic Party (PD) officially joined in Golkar Party. The Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar DPP, Nurdin Halid, directly put the party’s yellow coat with the banyan logo on to IAS.
Reported secondsSulsel, the inauguration of IAS as a Golkar cadre was held at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Sunday (29/5/2022). The inauguration was carried out at a halalbihalal event held by Golkar cadres and volunteer Airlangga Hartarto.
“I put this suit on, it is the official symbol (IAS) of joining the Golkar Party,” said Nurdin Halid.
Nurdin said the gift of a Golkar suit to IAS was a symbol of friendship. Nurdin said the suit given to IAS was his.
“With this shirt, it is a symbol of NH’s friendship with IAS. With this jacket, NH is in IAS’s heart, IAS is in NH’s heart,” he said.
On the same occasion, IAS is grateful for being accepted as part of the Golkar Party. IAS said that the right size of the suit indicated that he was indeed compatible with Golkar.
“God willing, today I put on Pak Nurdin’s suit and this shirt really fits. This indicates that my heart with Pak Nurdin is indeed right,” said IAS.
