Learning by Consulting – Empirical analyzes of tasks from marketing practice (modules 11 and 12)

Students attend the project seminar in the semester in which they also write their bachelor thesis at the chair. Both the seminar topic and the bachelor thesis will deal with a practical problem of a company or a current problem area in marketing practice.

Project seminar and bachelor thesis belong together and cannot be taken individually.

Ideally, students have also attended the “scientific work” courses and the seminar at the chair. In these events, the students are prepared for the project seminar and the bachelor thesis and gain initial experience in empirical work.

Character and teaching goals of the course

As part of the project seminar, the participants deal intensively with the practical problems of a cooperating company. The students work in parallel on their bachelor thesis. Milestones of the individual work are regularly presented and discussed in the project seminar.

Pre-condition

Prerequisite is the participation in scientific work and the seminar as well as 120 credit points at the beginning of the event.
