Learn How to Claim Expenses from Mortgage Formalization: Free Talk by Acubi

The Association for the Defense of Consumers and Users of Bidasoa (Acubi) has organized a free talk to inform citizens about how to claim expenses derived from the formalization of mortgages. Lawyer Esther Ezcurra, representative of Acubi, will be in charge of giving the presentation, which will take place at the Espacio Palmera Montero at 6:00 p.m.

In recent years, the costs of establishing mortgages have been the subject of numerous legal proceedings. However, the Supreme Court has determined that these expenses must be assumed by the banking entities. Acubi would like to remind consumers that they have the right to a refund of 50% of the notary fee and 100% of the appraisal, management and registration fee, along with the corresponding interest from the moment they were paid until their return by the bank.

During the talk, advice will also be provided to those consumers who have submitted complaints to their bank and have not received a response or have not been compensated for mortgage expenses, including the corresponding interest.
