Leaked PlayStation 5 Pro Specifications: Customized Hardware and Performance Boost

A new slimmed-down version of the PlayStation 5 is just weeks away from release, but specs for the yet-to-be-officially-announced Pro model appear to have made their way to the internet. Sources say the Pro will come with a combination of Ryzen 2 Zen processors, Viola APUs, and RDNA GPUs — all of which are apparently customized for Sony’s console.

The clock speed is cranked up to around 4 GHz, which is slightly higher than the 5 GHz the Zen 2 processor in the regular PlayStation 3.5 can achieve. However, the 16GB of GDDR6 memory is slightly faster at 576GB per second. Beyond that, we can expect some software and hardware improvements, and while that’s not surprising, details are currently scarce.

Are you keen on PlayStation 5 Pro?
