In the meantime, a leak occurred, and the files of the “History of Khorinis” mod appeared on the network. The version that a number of players and bloggers managed to get acquainted with is dated January 13, 2023. And it looks more like an alpha version than a project that is nearing completion.
This is interesting: the files of the “History of Khorinis” were received by an attacker who pretended to be a woman in exchange for a couple of photographs – of course, not his own. The story of this begins at 0:53.
In his new video, Xen states that Dzieje Khorinis is replete with bugs, there are not enough scripts in the mod, the map is about 25% ready, but there are a lot of borrowings from other modifications – which the authors promised to avoid. But in general, the mod pulls on an amateur craft of the level of 2004.
The blogger suggests that soon we may hear about the closure of work on the “History of Khorinis”. However, there is a possibility that the leak is intentional, and thus the creators of the forgotten project are trying to regain interest in it.
