A new leak on Fortnite has revealed that TikTok’s popular dance, Renegade, will be available in the store very soon.
Generally speaking, Epic Games tends to make Fortnite players benefit from various popular culture trends through the game store.
The players were treated to many skins from crossovers with Marvel, Star Wars or Stranger Things, but the most popular additions are probably the emotes and more specifically the dances.
As TikTok continues to gain popularity, players continue to demand the addition of popular dances from the app on Fortnite, as may have been the case with Pokimane, and it looks like their request is about to be answered by Epic.
A TikTok dance soon on Fortnite?
HYPEX, a Fortnite dataminer whose reputation is well established, revealed that the famous dance Renegade was in the game files since the June 30 update. However, since then, it has not appeared in the shop or in the section where you can find packs.
However, it would seem that this is only a postponement since on July 11, HYPEX revealed that the emote will finally be available for purchase on Saturday July 18.
The Renegade emote will be in the itemshop on the 18th.

Unfortunately, the leaker did not reveal how much the emote would cost or when it will finally become available.
Emotes often cost between 200 and 800 V-Bucks depending on their rarity. The leaks there had been on June 30 seemed to tip the scales for 500 V-bucks, but by the time of its official release, the developers have plenty of time to change things.
While in theory there are only a few days left to wait, Fortnite players just have to keep an eye out for any potential new information that the drafter might find out about the emote.
