Tamara Funiciello, the National Council has just accepted marriage for all. What is your feeling?
I am very, very happy. It’s 2020, it’s finally time for Switzerland to have a full marriage for all. The fight to get there started forty years ago. In parliament, it took six years before this vote. The ball is now in the court of the Council of States, where I am sure that this modern law will find a majority. This is the only possible answer to offer homosexual couples an egalitarian marriage.
