Construction work on the Ouezzane Provincial Hospital Center was launched on Thursday, August 27, for a total investment of around 245 million dirhams. The construction work was kicked off during a ceremony chaired by the governor of the province of Ouezzane, Mehdi Chalabi, in the presence of provincial officials from the Ministry of Health as well as local elected officials.
This hospital center, which will be built on 7.94 hectares of land with a covered area of 31,340 square meters, is intended to be a new health center meeting the needs of the province of Ouezzane and aimed at improving the quality of care. patient care.
With a capacity of 120 hospital beds and 34 day places, this establishment aims to provide the population of the province with first and second level hospital care services.
In addition, the Ouezzane provincial hospital center will offer medical, surgical, gynecology-obstetrics and pediatrics services, in addition to outpatient services that include specialized outpatient consultations, functional explorations, rehabilitation, hemodialysis, sampling and dental and oncology services, in addition to a day hospital.
This structure, whose construction time is estimated at 30 months, will include a pharmacy, shops, workshops, a mortuary and a waste management space, as well as administrative premises.
