MEXICO CITY (appro). – Federal deputy Carlos Miguel Aysa Adams, his party, the Institutional Revolutionary, called him a traitor because he is going to vote in favor of the electricity reform proposed by Morena, but the governor of Campeche, Layda Sansores, celebrated his “consistency” and called him patriot.
Yesterday, the national leader of the PRI, Alejandro Moreno accused Aysa Adams of betraying the PRI and Mexico after announcing his decision to support the presidential electricity reform and even positioned the hashtag #AysaTraidorALaPatria as a trend on Twitter.
For her part, Layda Sansores applauded the decision of Aysa Adams, son of her predecessor in the governorship of Campeche, Carlos Miguel Aysa González, whom she was supposedly investigating for alleged acts of corruption, but stopped persecuting him when the government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador appointed him ambassador of Mexico in the Dominican Republic.
“Deputy Carlos Miguel Aysa Damas, has been consistent with history, has decided to support the president’s electrical reform.
“Feel proud, the people of Campeche who love Mexico appreciate it. Defending the Electricity Reform belongs to patriots,” the governor wrote on Twitter.
Last night, in a tweet published on Wednesday night, the PRI deputy said he was the “only brave person capable of raising his voice” although not the only one who has read the full proposal and anticipated that surely more of his colleagues will join his decision to vote in favor of the electrical reform of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
“I am the only brave person capable of raising my voice, but not the only one who has read the entire proposal and who has an informed point of view. I am completely sure that this Sunday there will be other colleagues convinced of our president’s fight, ”the PRI deputy wrote on his Twitter account.
He then shared a letter regarding the discussion of the electrical reform scheduled for Sunday and which he described as one of the most important initiatives of recent times in the country.
“Because I owe myself to the people, more than to the whims or interests of a person or group, and after reading that the 12 points approved by the Political Council of the PRI were included in the Reform Opinion, where it stands out: electricity as a right human, lower electricity bills for 43 million families; Just like public lighting, agricultural and drinking water pumping, and putting an end to looting and millionaire fraud by foreign companies, but always keeping private investment legal, I have made the decision to vote in favor for the good of Mexico,” he said.
He added that he does so convinced that one cannot be against the development of the country or against the will of millions of Mexicans.
“Today society demands us and requires popular representatives not to put group interests, electoral or personal alliances before. Our alliance must be with the People of Mexico.” He indicated.
For this reason, he added that in his capacity as deputy of the LXV Federal Legislature he cannot act on a whim or by authoritarian mandate from his party, the PRI, “but on the right side of history.”
He considered that the PRI has the opportunity to vindicate itself before the people of Mexico, who are offended by bad leaders, who abused the faith and trust of their militants.
“I invite you to reflect on your vote, act out of conviction, consistency and responsibility for the good of Mexico,” he wrote.
Subsequently, he blamed the national leader of the PRI, Alejandro Moreno, for what happened to him or his family, as well as all those people who started a smear campaign against him for expressing the meaning of his vote.
In his public complaint, he included the news anchor Ciro Gómez Leyva, “for fomenting and promoting hatred; social networks should not be a weapon, but a means of communication, he pointed out.
