Lawyer Avenatti guilty of attempted extortion of millions Nike | Abroad

Avenatti gained fame primarily through charges against President Trump on behalf of porn film maker Stormy Daniels. The lawyer who turns 49 on Sunday is risking more than 40 years in prison. The penalty is determined on June 17.

Daniels claimed two years ago that she had a relationship with Trump in 2006. She received money for the 2016 elections from a Trump lawyer, Michael Cohen, not to mention it.

Her counsel Avenatti appeared in hundreds of talk shows and thought aloud about becoming a presidential candidate. He has since been accused by Daniels of fraud in New York.
