Russia refuses to participate in the summit of the “Normandy Four” because the decisions of the previous summit in Paris have not been fulfilled. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov. RIA Novosti.

“I was, of course, a little surprised that Western colleagues are pushing the resumption of the Normandy format with such assertiveness, without ensuring, on their part, the implementation of previous decisions,” Lavrov said.

He noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with the leaders of Germany and France the expediency of resuming the Normandy format and holding the summit only after the previous decisions are implemented.
