This is sad news. During confinement, singer Laurent Voulzy was struck by a drama: her cat, Triskell, died carried away by a driver. She is his partner, Mirella Lepetit who reported the accident via his Facebook account. “We only measure loss by the yardstick of absence. Our little Quiberonaise is no longer … his life ended brutally, mowed down by a driver.“ she started. Then she continued: “There was no need for words between us, she heard me in the silence of our exchanges. We shared our secrets … She inspired me. At the foot of the bed, the little ball of black hair was irreparably killed . Its sweet purrs no longer rock our nights. My panther went to cat paradise. Triskell, now lives in the silky cocoon of our memories. “
As Laurent Voulzy’s partner said, the facts took place on April 25, 2020, a little more than a month after the confinement in France imposed by the pandemic of coronavirus. In the comments of the publication, many were the Internet users to give their support. “Oh, I’m really sad for you”, “What sad news, we are thinking of you” or “A pet becomes a member of the family! And its loss generates a corresponding penalty. I am sad for you” can we for example read. For his part, the 71-year-old singer did not comment on the loss of Triskell. Fortunately, they can console themselves with the dog who joined their home in early 2019.
