Laura has Tourette: My tics have increased due to the corona crisis Stories behind the news

Today is European Tourette Day. Laura Beljaars (31) has Gilles de la Tourette. Two years ago, VROUW interviewed her about her experience with the disease. Now we came back to her with the corona crisis. She completed the PABO and obtained her master’s in Development Education and Global Learning. She uses this to guide people with Tourette and she also works as an expert by experience for the Parnassia Group and is a board member of the Gilles de la Tourette Foundation. “I want to show that Tourette can help you achieve your goals.”
