Pastry chef and influencer Laura Candeau, wife of Cuban reggaeton artist Osmani García, had to undergo emergency surgery due to intestinal complications.
While the couple was enjoying a vacation in Italy, the young woman began to have complications, and had to be immediately taken to the hospital, where she underwent surgery.
Through his networks, Osmani announced at that time that his wife had suffered from intestinal obstructions due to fleshiness and adhesions that had apparently accumulated for years, and that had finally interrupted her digestive tract.
The procedure lasted just two hours, but it was vital for the pastry chef, who came out of the operation well, something that was also appreciated by the interpreter on his networks.
“Thank you to God and my ancestors for guiding the hands of the doctors who saved my Laurita’s life. Thank you Dr. Valerio and Thank you Mary infinitely indebted,” she wrote at the time on her Instagram, adding a photo of Laura in the hospital bed.
The delicacy of the influencer’s condition could be seen in her recovery, since for eight days she could not eat food or liquids, because her body rejected them.
With proper medical attention, this weekend, just over a week after surgery, Osmani shared his wife’s first meal, who was now able to start eating.
“My queen eagerly eating soup for dinner for the first time. Well, on the 29th they let her go so we can fly to Bilbao. You are the best at everything! A song is coming to honor the queen we have at home with this title,” the artist wrote.
In the publication he attached a video from the hospital room, where in the background Candeau is seen in bed, smiling and waving while eating his bowl of soup.
The couple is just waiting for Laura to be discharged to continue their idyllic tour of Europe, with Portugal as their next stop, where they will probably record their next music video.
