The project to generalize social coverage to all Moroccans, under the impetus of King Mohammed VI, concretizes the national will to associate economic development with social progress, as an undeniable condition for a productive economy and a developed society.
The major pillar of this project, which is the generalization of Compulsory Health Insurance (AMO), which is making great strides and which is scheduled for the end of 2022, will ultimately benefit 22 million Moroccan citizens and constitute an important step towards universal coverage, with the impact of reducing social and spatial inequalities in access to quality health services.
To support this development, AXA Assurance Maroc is today launching SEHASSUR, an unprecedented complementary individual health insurance product, intended for all Moroccans benefiting from the basic AMO scheme with the CNSS, as well as their spouses and dependent children.
This launch follows the signing of a partnership agreement yesterday July 6 between AXA Assurance Maroc and the Caisse Nationale de la Sécurité Sociale, acknowledging the establishment of a one-stop shop that will allow policyholders to deposit a single copy of their disease files in CNSS agencies or through a network of more than 2,000 designated relay agencies.
Thus, with SEHASSUR, AXA Assurance Maroc confirms its position as a benchmark insurer attentive to the constantly changing needs of its customers and placing their health at the heart of its activities.
From now on, Moroccans, whether employees affiliated to the AMO scheme, entrepreneurs, liberals or traders can, from 165 DHS / month, subscribe to a SEHASSUR contract and complete their Compulsory Health Insurance in terms of reimbursement and case of illness, maternity or accident (excluding accidents at work). SEHASSUR also offers many other optional guarantees, such as death, disability, critical illnesses, as well as additional benefits outside the CNSS basket.
The SEHASSUR offer is available in 3 coverage formulas and 3 reimbursement rates to allow policyholders great flexibility according to their budget and their needs and also offers a simplified treatment path and fluidity in the follow-up of their files thanks to the MyAXA app.
