The Latvian National Theater will celebrate with a New Year’s concert
Riga, Dec. 3, LETA. The Latvian National Theater will celebrate with a New Year’s concert on December 17 at 7 pm, the theater representative Lolita Grāvīte informed LETA.
The concert application states that “we each come from our own family and our own land – some do not pay much attention at the turn of the year, but many consider this night a mysterious, miraculous, special one that must follow traditions. Theater actors will share their findings by interviewing friends. and friends all over the world, but all together will offer the best and most festive songs from our theater performances “.
The director and set designer of the event is Reinis Suhanovs, the costume designer is Ilze Vītoliņa, the musical design is by Valdis Zilveris, and the choreography is by Andrejs Filipovs. The lighting artist of the concert is Oskars Pauliņš.
The concert will be conducted by Indra Burkovska, Raimonds Celms and Arturs Krūzkops, and will be attended by Dita Lūriņa, Evija Krūze, Madara Botmane, Maija Doveika, Ainārs Ančevskis, Egils Melbārdis, Kaspars Aniņš, Mārtiņš Brūveris, Mārtiņš E Mārtiņš.
