Dwinski reveals that during the long flight from Amsterdam to Singapore, an old ailment in one tooth made itself felt.
“In the first days, it got pretty crazy, there was also swelling, nothing happened without the intervention of a dentist,” says Dwinski, who had his tooth pulled out.
“But the dentistry here is very good and relatively cheap. I managed to cope quite successfully. (..) The first visit was to the military hospital, there it was 26 euros for a consultation, X-ray, two types of antibiotics, painkillers. It was the closest place to the arena. After for that, I asked the organizers which would be not the closest, but the best dentist. One of the coordinators – a local from Jakarta – recommended her dentist. At her, which is already a much more modern dentist, the tooth extraction was around 90 euros,” reveals the basketball commentator.
