Latvian Automobile Federation Receives New Škoda Cars from Green Motors for 2024 Motorsport Season

On Tuesday, April 16, the Latvian Automobile Federation (LAF) received two new Škoda cars from Green Motors for the 2024 motorsport season – the dynamic Škoda Scala Monte Carlo and the functional Škoda Kodiaq.

The two official LAF Škoda cars will also participate in all major motorsport competitions in Latvia this year, providing excellent support to LAF representatives and organizers on and off the track.

Indicating that the successful collaboration will continue, the company’s executive director Andris Sivickis and marketing manager Ieva Siugale presented the keys to the new Škoda cars to LAF president Raimonds Kisiel and general secretary Linda Mednei at a solemn ceremony at the Green Motors motor show.

Raimonds Kisiels, president of LAF: “I am very happy that we can meet again at the Green Motors car showroom and continue the long-term cooperation that we have already started in 2019. Škoda and motorsport go hand in hand, because Škoda is not only successful in rally competitions, but also a reliable friend in competitions organized by the Latvian Automobile Federation. We really appreciate the capacity and functionality of the Škoda cars, which are very useful to the representatives and organizers of the LAF both in preparation for the competition and during the competition itself.”

Andris Sivickis, CEO of Green Motors: “Green Motors is very pleased with the development of Latvian motorsport in the past years. With his excellent work, LAF has helped unknown people to find Latvia on the map. As a result of continuous work, Latvia has become an international hotbed of young talent and the home of world-class motor racing. A job well done and even more great plans for the future. We are happy that this year we will also be going on the growth path of LAF, providing Škoda brand cars full of motorsport genes.”

The 2024 summer season of Latvian motorsport will start this Sunday, April 21, in Biķernieki with the first stage of the Latvian highway championship, in which the Škoda Scala Monte Carlo of the Latvian Automobile Federation will also participate as a car safety.
