The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, has announced that next week a new record will be broken in the arrival of vaccines: 4.6 million doses. The minister has assured that the vaccination goes “like a shot.” The Community of Madrid and Galicia have ignored the call to order made yesterday by the Ministry of Health and will prioritize the AstraZeneca vaccine as a second dose for those under 60 who have already received a first dose. “After the reckless changes of the Ministry of Health without any scientific basis we will be able to inoculate this second dose to 213,000 people. The Community of Madrid continues to defend the administration of AstraZeneca ”, has indicated the Regional Deputy Minister of Health, Antonio Zapatero. Citizens can confirm the AstraZeneca dose or decline it and ask for the Pfizer. For his part, the Galician president, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, on Friday accused the Pedro Sánchez government of “turning an issue that is only scientific into politics.” The European Medicines Agency (EMA) announced this Friday its opinion on the use of the Pfizer vaccine in adolescents between 12 and 15 years old.
