Iron prices in the local market
Ahmed Al-Zaini, head of the Building Materials Division at the Chambers of Commerce, confirmed that the price of a ton of iron fell by 7 thousand pounds, after pumping large quantities of iron into the local market.
The head of the Building Materials Division said in televised statements that some iron factories have exaggerated their prices during the past months, noting that the major iron factories in Egypt account for more than 70% of production.
