The epidemic indicators of covid in Catalonia fall back again this Thursday although the number of positives grows by 500 compared to the previous day. Hospital tension remains stable, both in the number of patients on the ward and in critical care units. Regarding the former, there are 329 people hospitalized (eight less than the previous day), of which 91 are in ucis, the same figure as those communicated this Wednesday.
Speed of spread of the virus (Rt) in Catalonia is 1.04 (yesterday it was 1.08), which means that every 100 infected infect an average of 104 people, so transmission continues to grow. The risk of regrowth falls to 47 (-2).
The Department of Health has declared eight fewer hospitalized due to covid-19 in the last hours (329) and the same number of critics to the ICU (91). In parallel, 500 new cases confirmed by PCR or TU have been reported, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 924,019.
