According to the data of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the Riçhter scale was recorded in Sivrice district of Elazig, the epicenter at 01.19. The earthquake was felt from nearby regions as well as Sivrice.
Then three more earthquakes occurred in the last half hour, one of which was 3.1.
No information has yet been obtained as to whether the earthquake caused any destruction in damaged buildings.
