Lasse Granqvist regrets the life choice: “A little late to start…”

Granqvist is one of Sweden’s most valued sports commentators and presenters.

Right now, he is guiding TV4’s viewers through the football European Championships in England, and his track record includes a whole host of championships.

The 54-year-old lives alone and has previously said that work has taken over his private life.

I the “Värvet” podcast says Lasse Granqvist that he has no problem with getting questions about it.

– I don’t think it bothers me at all, actually. Like I said before, at a young age I was labeled as that sports geek. It didn’t matter to me, I saw it as a bit of a compliment actually. So far I have had a fairly happy marriage with my work, I must say, he says in the interview.

The TV4 profile goes on to say that the love relationships he has had have been short-lived and he has prioritized his work instead.

– Then you can say that I would probably have prioritized my life differently if I had to live it over. 55 is like… It’s a little late to start correcting some things in life, I can feel.

The presenter Kristoffer Triumf wonders if there is something that is bothering him today.

– In some way, the answer must still be that I worry a little because I still say that maybe I should have done differently, says Granqvist.

And continues:

– I don’t think I’ve hurt anyone or made anyone feel terribly bad, or very bad, as a result of my weak prioritization. Not too much anyway, I don’t think so.
