Granqvist is one of Sweden’s most valued sports commentators and presenters.
Right now, he is guiding TV4’s viewers through the football European Championships in England, and his track record includes a whole host of championships.
The 54-year-old lives alone and has previously said that work has taken over his private life.
I the “Värvet” podcast says Lasse Granqvist that he has no problem with getting questions about it.
– I don’t think it bothers me at all, actually. Like I said before, at a young age I was labeled as that sports geek. It didn’t matter to me, I saw it as a bit of a compliment actually. So far I have had a fairly happy marriage with my work, I must say, he says in the interview.

The TV4 profile goes on to say that the love relationships he has had have been short-lived and he has prioritized his work instead.
– Then you can say that I would probably have prioritized my life differently if I had to live it over. 55 is like… It’s a little late to start correcting some things in life, I can feel.
The presenter Kristoffer Triumf wonders if there is something that is bothering him today.
– In some way, the answer must still be that I worry a little because I still say that maybe I should have done differently, says Granqvist.
And continues:
– I don’t think I’ve hurt anyone or made anyone feel terribly bad, or very bad, as a result of my weak prioritization. Not too much anyway, I don’t think so.
