LASK focuses on a young player trio

Although three rounds are still outstanding in the current season of the tipico Bundesliga, the LASK is already eagerly planning for the coming season. The runners-up should focus particularly on three young players.

As Sky reporter Roland Streinz reports via Twitter, a talented player trio should join the Upper Austrians. The Danish U21 team player Mads Emil Madsen, the 22-year-old Ukrainian Yevgen Cheberko and Wolfsburg youngster Mamoudou Karamoko are therefore the focus of the LASK.

Madsen is the captain of Silkeborg at the age of 22 and is currently fighting against relegation from the top division. The central midfielder has also completed 34 appearances in the Danish league. Cheberko is the captain of the Ukrainian U21 national team and is under contract with Zorya Luhansk. There he is usually offered in the position of the central defender.

A well-known personnel, however, is Wolfsburg’s Karamoko, which has long been the focus of the association. The 20-year-old offensive talent debuted in February under Oliver Glasner in the Bundesliga.

Update: Grgic returns to LASK

However, the return of WSG professional Lukas Grgic is already fixed. The 24-year-old was already under contract with the LASK between 2014 and 2018 and was initially loaned out by Ried and finally contracted there. After a year in Tyrol, the defensive midfielder will now play in his home country again.
