American talk show host Larry King lost two children within three weeks. The family of the 87-year-old television icon confirms this to the Daily Mail.

His 65-year-old stepson Andy died on July 28, presumably from a heart attack. Due to the corona crisis, King had to follow the funeral via a video connection.
His 51-year-old daughter Chaia died from lung cancer last week. Chaia was his only daughter with ex-wife Alene Atkins. Andy was an adopted son from a previous relationship of Atkins.
Larry King has been hit by a lot of misery for the past two years. The journalist suffered a stroke last year, after which he was in a coma for weeks. He was also diagnosed with lung and prostate cancer. King hosted the Larry King Live program on CNN for nearly thirty years. He stopped in 2010.
