This Friday, May 20, 2022, TF1 viewers were able to find their last weekly episode of Large families, their docu-reality narrating the daily lives of XXL families. They thus witnessed the return of the Bambara family, a family that has just gone through a great ordeal: Rofrane, the 28-year-old mother, recently caught the flu virus. But when she expected to be sick for only a few days, things took a turn for the worse. dramatic turn : “The more the days passed, the more my condition worsened”, she explained.

Very quickly, she suffered from paralysis on one side of her body, and an examination revealed damage to her brain: “Honestly it scared me, not for me but for my children. It was the first times that I was separated from the little ones like that…”. Even today, the young mother is very handicapped by this accident: “Today my arm is heavy, I feel discomfort in my eye, but it’s more in the leg…”, said detailed the one who has to go through rehabilitation and who regrets not being able to take care of her children as before. On twitter, this sequence caused a lot of emotions.

In other scenes from the episode: the Boibessots were invited to another large family with seven children. A challenge for this family, for whom everything went very well in the end, despite the concerns of Audrey, the mother, who is always afraid of bothering others with her large “tribe”.

At the Jean Zephirins, the dad came back from shopping with a little novelty for his wife and him. Forced to sleep in the living room for lack of space, the couple no longer had any comfort since their sofa bed had broken. Full of good will, the father of this very tight budget family decided to invest in an inflatable mattress. But this initiative did not really convince his wife. By discovering its thickness of 22 centimeters and its small width, Raoudha the mother of the family judged that it was not sufficiently comfortable. “Might as well sleep on the ground […] It’s ridiculous, don’t move, you have to stay straight like that, everyone has their place!”, She reacted, with her usual smile and lightness. “I’m in a hurry to test my sleep on this mattress. Will I have at least two hours of sleep without waking up and feeling the ground under my back?”, continued, with irony, a little later the mother of eight children.
