I know that there were a lot of events on the track, but I think that we had good tactics, and we did everything that needed to be done. I can’t call my race boring, but everything developed quite linearly, we followed our plan and focused on our work.
This is exactly the task we set ourselves from the very beginning, and we managed to complete it, so I am glad that everything turned out well. We have earned a lot of points, finishing in 4th and 5th places – this is one of the best results for our team, so after yesterday’s difficulties we were quite able to recoup. “
Carlos Science (5th): “The most important thing is that Grosjean is okay. Everyone was extremely relieved to see that he got out of the car after such a terrible accident. I think it was an extremely harsh reminder of how dangerous motorsport is.
Despite all the safety measures, we still risk our lives every weekend as we pilot these machines to the limit. And this must be treated with respect. On the positive side, what happened underlines that Formula 1 and the FIA, together with the teams, have done an excellent job, and the cars are becoming safer every year.
For example, after what we saw today, no one will criticize Halo. I would also like to draw your attention to the work that the marshals and our mechanics do. They may not pilot machines, but they are also at serious risk and play an important role in protecting us all.
If we talk about my work, then we won back well again, finishing fifth after starting from 15th position! I managed to have a good first segment on soft tires, I was ahead of many rivals, but at the same time took care of the rubber.
The second stretch on the Medium kit was also very decent, we managed to get ahead of both Renault cars and close the gap with Landau. It was a great race, we earned a lot of points for the team, which is very important for the position in the constructors’ championship. “

Both riders and the team as a whole deserve praise, and I would also like to thank the Renault minders. We started from 9th and 15th positions, and finished in 4th and 5th places, earning 22 points, which is very important.
