Owner Chelsea Roman Abramovich commented resign Frank Lampard from the post of head coach.
“It was a very difficult decision for the club because I personally have a wonderful relationship with Frank and I have great respect for him.
He is a very decent man with an incredible attitude. Nevertheless, under the circumstances, we believe that it would be best to change the coach.
On my own behalf, on behalf of the management and on behalf of the whole club, I want to thank Frank for his work as head coach and wish him all the best for the future.
He is an iconic figure for this outstanding club, so his status here remains unshakable. He will always be warmly received on Stamford Bridge– said Abramovich.
