For the second year in a row in Sofia, the lamb was stolen from the Nativity scene in front of the church “Sveta Nedelya”handed over BNT. The perpetrator is still unknown.
Last year before Christmas, the lamb disappeared just a week after the stage was built. The figure is made of plywood and the thief’s motives are not clear. The nursery was built with the funds of the Sofia Metropolis.
In Pernik, the municipal video surveillance cameras sealed Christmas tree theft from the decoration in the underpass at the railway station.
The recording shows two persons – one of whom is stealing a Christmas tree, part of the Christmas decoration in the underpass at the Pernik railway station.
The video recording will be handed over to the law enforcement authorities to establish the identity of the perpetrator.
The municipality of Pernik is adamant that it will continue to publicly show the acts of vandalism captured by over 400 video surveillance cameras that work around the clock.
