The popular singer Laima Vaikule, who has just returned from a long absence in the United States, shares her impressions and ideas: “I am very happy that when I return, a great summer awaits me in Latvia, my lovely hosts and my long-lost friends Alla Pugačova and Maksims Galkins.
There were also many interesting adventures, impressions and challenges in America, new friends were made and creative ideas were worked on, but nothing could be better than returning home, here in Jurmala.
I am extremely sorry and really sad that I had to postpone my festival to next year because we had no other choice. I am very grateful to my loyal fans and visitors of the festival “Laima Rendezvous Jurmala” for their patience and understanding. Because I want to be sure that what we invite the viewers to, that it is the best that we can provide, that the program is of a quality that I can be sure and confident about.
However, I am very happy that I will have many opportunities for different dates with the audience right now. I am full of energy and charged, because nothing can be more inspiring than to meet my viewers again. I miss it so much. We’ll see you at the concerts very soon!” said Vaikule.
