AvtoVAZ experiments with rich trim levels of Lada cars continue. In the Vesta gamut there is a top version of Exclusive, but Ixrey did not take root: having appeared in 2017, XRAY Exclusive pretty quickly disappeared from the lineup. But now the flagship of the family will be XRAY Cross by Instinct.
The basis is the Luxe Prestige equipment with climate control, combined seat upholstery (fabric and leatherette), heated windshield, steering wheel and rear seats. And the main feature of the new version is the Yandex.Auto media system with an eight-inch display (instead of the standard seven-inch), a rear view camera and a 4G modem. It includes a proprietary navigator, voice assistant Alice and a number of other Yandex services. There is free internet access for the first six months.
Of the external features of the Instinct version – black paint on the roof and mirror housings, plus two-tone wheels. The upholstery of the seats has been changed, glossy door handles and name tags with the name of the configuration have appeared. Such cross-hatchbacks will be offered with two power units – this is the VAZ 1.8 engine (122 hp) with “mechanics” and the Nissan 1.6 engine (113 hp) with a variator. Production of cars has already begun, prices will be announced later, but even cars performed by Luxe Prestige now cost at least 930 thousand rubles.
