Since the beginning of September, the latest models of the Chinese brand “Dongfeng” were also visible in the halls of the “Lada” dealerships in Piemaskova. As the vice president of “AvtoVAZ” Dmitri Kostromin in the field of sales and marketing explained to the media, at a time when the “Lada” model range was full, brand dealers were forbidden to offer models of other brands in their showrooms, but now the situation has changed.

After the invasion of Ukraine, due to the sanctions introduced in the spring, most of the car manufacturers left the Russian market, so dealerships started working with Chinese car manufacturers to survive. Not only “Lada”, but also earlier, for example, distributors of famous German car brands are currently selling Chinese cars.

In addition, the prices of new cars “Lada” have risen significantly, for example, the popular “Vesta” model currently costs about 2.3 million rubles or 38 thousand euros, for which you can already buy a rather proud Chinese local .
