Kyrgios withdraws from the Lever Cup

The 2022 Wimbledon runner-up the Australian Nick Kyrgios announced his withdrawal from this year’s edition of the Lever Cup which will take place from September 23 to 25.

“There will be no Laver Cup for me this year. I just wanted everyone to know,” the former world No. 13 said on social media.

“I have to spend time with my family and my lovely girlfriend,” said the 27-year-old Australian, who has also withdrawn from the singles draw at the ATP 250 tournament in Atlanta to be held from July 25-31.
