The 31st cultural autumn of the Würzburg district was already planned from September 25 to October 18, 2020. Hobby artists, professionals, associations and private individuals have already been invited to participate in the autumn cultural landscape with a young, colorful and diverse program.
Due to the spread of the corona virus and the uncertain further development of the effects, the district of Würzburg has decided to cancel this year’s cultural autumn. This comes from a press release.
After the participants of the cultural autumn carry out their program contribution under their own direction and responsibility, they are of course free to realize their planned events for 2020 – always subject to the regulations applicable at that time – but without the coordination and provision of the common Promotional material by the district of Würzburg and the umbrella brand “Kulturherbst”.

District Administrator Thomas Eberth regrets the cancellation for 2020 and looks confidently at the cultural autumn 2021: “The decision to cancel the cultural autumn of the district of Würzburg 2020 was not an easy one. But now it is important to stand together in solidarity. Nevertheless, we are looking forward to it a “new” cultural autumn 2021 with a colorful mix of events for young and old. “
